HOW TO OPEN YOUR TRACKER
Life RPG Lite — Daily Quest Tracker, by Lua Dias Studio

THE SHORT VERSION
------------------------------------------------------------
1. Unzip the folder you downloaded.
2. Double-click 1-OPEN-ME-Life-RPG-Lite.html

It opens in your web browser. That is correct — it is a web
page that lives on your computer instead of on the internet.
It is not a program you install.

THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM, FIRST
------------------------------------------------------------
THE ZIP IS STILL A ZIP.

Your download arrives as a .zip folder. Windows and Mac will
both happily let you look inside it without unpacking it, and
the tracker will not work from in there — it may open blank,
or refuse to save anything you do.

Unpack it first:

  * Windows: right-click the .zip, choose "Extract All", then
    open the folder that appears.

  * Mac: double-click the .zip. A normal folder appears next
    to it. Use that one.

Then double-click the .html file inside.

If you are not sure whether you unpacked it, look at the icon:
a zip has a zipper or a little vice on it. A plain folder does
not.

IF YOU DOWNLOADED THIS ON YOUR PHONE
------------------------------------------------------------
It is much easier on a computer, because phones make unzipping
awkward and hide the unpacked files.

If a computer is not an option:

  * Download the .zip from the link you were given, on
luaimagined.com or in your receipt email.

  * Open your Files app (iPhone: "Files". Android: "Files" or
"My Files"), find the download, and tap the .zip to unpack
it. On iPhone this creates a folder with the same name.

  * Open that folder, tap the .html file, and choose to open it
with a browser such as Chrome or Safari.

WHERE IT WORKS BEST
------------------------------------------------------------
A laptop or desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

It does work on phones and tablets, and the layout adapts to a
narrow screen. The awkward part on mobile is not the tracker, it
is opening a downloaded file at all. If you plan to use it mostly
on your phone, get it open once and then bookmark the page.

IMPORTANT: whichever browser you open it in is where your data
lives. If you start in Chrome and later open the file in
Firefox, Firefox will look empty — your progress is still in
Chrome. Use the same browser, or move your data with EXPORT
BACKUP and then IMPORT on the other side.

One more, and it catches people: keep the unpacked file
somewhere you will find it again, and open that same copy each
time. If you unzip it a second time into a new folder and open
that one, your browser treats it as a different page and it
will look empty.

IF IT OPENS AS TEXT INSTEAD OF A TRACKER
------------------------------------------------------------
Your computer opened it with a text editor. Right-click the
file, choose "Open with", and pick a browser.

Windows: Open with > Google Chrome (or Edge)
Mac: Open With > Safari (or Chrome)

IF THE PAGE IS BLANK
------------------------------------------------------------
First check the zip, above — a blank page is usually the file
being run from inside the .zip.

If it is unpacked and still blank, make sure JavaScript is
enabled in your browser. Some strict privacy modes and some
work-managed computers block it. The tracker is entirely
JavaScript, so nothing will show without it.

If you are on a work computer with locked-down policies, try it
on a personal one.

IF IT OPENS BUT WILL NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING
------------------------------------------------------------
A banner appears at the top saying saving was blocked. That is
your browser refusing local storage, which private or incognito
windows normally do.

Open the file in a normal window. If it is already a normal
window, check your browser's cookie and site-data settings — the
same switch that blocks trackers sometimes blocks a page saving
its own data on your machine.

While that banner is up, EXPORT BACKUP still works. Use it
before you close the tab.

WHAT IT WILL NEVER DO
------------------------------------------------------------
It does not connect to the internet. It does not send anything
anywhere. It does not ask for an account, an email or a payment.
If anything ever asks you for those while using this file, you
are not looking at this file.

STILL STUCK?
------------------------------------------------------------
Go to luaimagined.com/support and tell me what you see on
screen. I answer, and I would rather sort it out than leave you
with something that does not open.
